NEWS: VIDEO: Flavors.me makes website creation easy
Invite codes available to give it a go
We’ve just got wind of a website called Flavors.me that allows you to very quickly generate a beautiful personalized homepage, which brings in content from the various web services you subscribe to and use.
You can see how it works in the demo above, but it’s essentially very simple. Put in your name, a brief bio, and connect it with your Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Vimeo, Last.fm, Netflix, Goodreads and RSS feeds. Then pick a colour scheme, a layout, a couple of fonts, maybe a background, and bang - you have a website.
If you’d like to see what kind of things you can do with flavors.me, there’s a gallery of sites that have been built using the tool. You can also get a decent idea by watching the video above.
The site is currently invite-only, but Flavors.me has provided us with a code that you can use to sign up if you want to give it a go. Type in “pocket-lint” in the invite box, and you should be able to sign up.
Oh, and be sure to let us know what you think of the site in the comments box below.
